Hatred
All day we slave, To fill the master's hand. All day we work, Not at all what we planned. All night we cry, Life will never be the same. All night we struggle, This is more than a game. Hatred's not fleeting, You know that it's true. For hatred is consuming All that you do. |
Captors
Guns slung carelessly Over broad shoulders Still bring fear. For I know the swiftness With which these men Our captors move. |
Inhumanity
What people do to each other, I just can't comprehend. If we would all just live together, Everyone could be a friend. No one should ever be so mean, That they take the lives of others. Bad men like Stalin we've seen, Taking children from their mothers. It's all so plainly inhumane, What some leaders come to do. It's mostly just insane, They hurt and don't care who. |
Cold
Cold seeps Sharp like razors Through skin Red and raw. I am shriveled Wasted away A shell of my Former self. |
